It gave me strength, courage, and knowledge to approach the creative aspects of my business with ease and it allowed me to see that I could grow my business organically without feeling tacky or inauthentically salesy. The Profitable Content Creator Lab was so much more than an online business course. I refer back to the materials from the course all of the time, and they have allowed me to help others find direction and creativity with their businesses too! Over the past year, I have been able to use the skills I learned from the PCCL to fully embrace my witchy side, my creative side, and my strategic side and alchemize them into my blossoming, intuitive business. There is something so potent about following a gut feeling and acting on it. These women became clients and referred other clients to me, kicking off the start of my business. I also had the pleasure of meeting a few other students who needed my help on some of their projects and we were able to arrange some trades. We sat in a plaza and talked for hours over a bottle of wine only to discover we shared the same exact birthday, had the same profession (photography + design) and our partners are both architects! It was such a magical and kismet experience that I knew, even if the course didn't help me make money immediately, the community was well worth the price. I discovered that one of them was living in the same neighborhood as me and we decided to meet up once the lockdown restrictions were lifted. During the course, I was able to meet other students and communicate with them through the class portal. My life changed completely as I was handed the tools that would actually allow me to grow my business without so much struggle and fear. I found a handful of people to join my email list and I worked on what my future offerings could look like. I used what I learned and started building out a content plan. Throughout the course, I learned all about how I could use content creation within my business to grow my audience, create partnerships, and build a community. The next morning I signed up and dove straight in.
However, I was kept awake one night with the feeling that I absolutely had to sign up even if it meant choosing a payment plan and having no certainty of any future income. The workshop was a month-long commitment and hundreds of dollars.
I was immediately intrigued because I was trying to figure out how to get my business going remotely with 0 resources.
Then, Michelle, the head witch in charge of Holisticism, offered a massive workshop on Creating Profitable Content (PCCL). The dark cloud above me finally started to lift as I felt my inspiration for life coming back. I learned so much-self-reiki, tarot, website SEO, and more.
I began to take some free workshops from Holisticism, a media company specializing in wellness and intuitive entrepreneurship. I was terribly depressed and felt like I had no hope of overcoming my financial or situational issues. Ever!ĭuring the pandemic, I had been trying to decide how to make money while living in a foreign country with no visa. I invested in myself and purchased a workshop that cost more money than I had ever spent on any single item.
So last year around this same time, I took a very unusual risk. Sometimes this analysis that I give to every decision becomes nearly paralyzing and it takes me weeks to make purchasing decisions. I am not a highly risky person-I critically consider every decision I make with a fine-tooth comb and have always been this way-let's just say I was always the DD in my youth.
